Bond may collect the following information:

• Account information, such as your email address, display name, authentication provider, and user ID.
• Relationship information, such as pairing status, couple ID, relationship dates, milestones, goals, agreements, moods, prompts, and prompt answers.
• User-created content, such as drawings, photo notes, drawing titles, and uploaded images.
• Device information needed for app functionality, such as Firebase Cloud Messaging push tokens.
• Basic technical information from Firebase services, such as authentication and database activity needed to operate the app.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage your Bond account, pair you with your partner, sync relationship data, store and display app content, send push notifications, maintain the app, and improve reliability.

How Information Is Shared

Bond is designed for private use between paired partners. Your relationship content is shared only with the partner connected to your Bond space.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private relationship content for advertising.

Service Providers

Bond uses Firebase, a Google service, for authentication, database storage, file storage, cloud functions, and push notification support. Firebase processes data as needed to provide these services.

Data Storage and Security

Bond stores data using Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Firebase Cloud Functions, and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Access rules are used to limit relationship data to the paired users in a couple space.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable steps are taken to protect your information.

Push Notifications

Bond may use push notifications to let you know about updates from your partner, such as drawings or mood changes. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Sign in with Apple

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide Bond with an identifier and, depending on your choice, your name and email address. Bond uses this information only to create and manage your account.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the app's features, maintain your account, and comply with legal obligations. If you want your account or data deleted, contact us.

Children's Privacy

Bond is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Choices

You can sign out of the app, disable notifications in iOS Settings, choose what content you create or upload, and request deletion of your account or data.
